DMU win the VC's club of the term

The end of term went out with a bang for DMU Lacrosse as they took home the Vice Chancellors club of the term award, at the sports activities dinner last Friday. The carnival themed meal was a celebration of all the achievements from the sports teams and society’s at the university. DMU Lacrosse was nominated for the team of the term, which the women’s team were shortlisted. They were ecstatic to learn they had also been nominated for club of the term, after a strong start to the season, this would be the cherry on top.

“After the hard work of the first term it’s been amazing to have the recognition we deserve, sometimes it feels that we have to go the extra mile because our sport is still establishing itself in the country and to finally receive one of the biggest awards has brought a sense of pride to club. “ - Jack Woulfe, Chairman.
