ULO Programme 2022/2023

England Lacrosse has renewed its partnership with over twenty universities on the University Lacrosse Officer (ULO) programme this year, with Camborne School of Mines and the University of Worcester also joining for the 2022/2023 season. Various ULOs have reported high levels of interest in the sport during welcome fairs, in addition to strong attendance at team trials.

Chloe Marshall, Lacrosse Officer for Camborne School of Mines, University of Exeter, said their first session of the year achieved “a really good turnout”, with forty players participating in team trials and an estimated thirty student sign-ups at their freshers stall. Officers for Newcastle and Nottingham also reiterated significant interest in their respective clubs, with well-attended taster sessions.

This year’s intake of University Lacrosse Officers will attend their first virtual meet and greet webinar tomorrow evening, where they will be introduced to various campaigns and sponsor partnerships running alongside the programme. If your university is yet to sign up and would like to get involved, there is still time to join! Please email n.roberts@englandlacrosse.co.uk for more information.
