Canterbury Christ Church Lacrosse Club also hold regular social events throughout the year- including movie nights, nights out, and seasonal events such as bonfire fireworks, ice skating, and their ‘I’m a Social Sec: Get Me Out of Here!’ themed social. It is the perfect team for students hoping to try out a new sport, get fit, and make new friends!

At Canterbury Christ Church, the majority of club members have never played lacrosse before university and build up their skills and confidence during weekly training sessions and matches. They pride themselves on being a friendly team and welcome anyone to come along and trial the sport, with no pressure to join. The club train twice a week with Canterbury City Lacrosse Club and play BUCS games on Wednesdays. Many students also compete as players with SEWLA and SEMLA teams on the weekends. Canterbury’s Men's Team were SE Cup finalists last year, winning their league and gaining promotion to Division 1. Their Women's Team also came second in Division 2.
